Maria works alone, in a small studio inside the Galerias D. Leonor arcade on Loulé's main avenue: floral wallpaper at reception, two beds in the treatment room, towels rolled to the ceiling.

Her focus is massage therapy, with face and body care alongside. Clients describe the same thing in five languages: she finds the points, explains each step and gives you something to do at home.

She keeps training. The certificates fill the reception wall, and her diary fills up too, so call ahead.

Cheguei até à Maria para fazer uma drenagem linfática, mas após uns minutos de avaliação disse-me que o ideal seria fazer uma massagem de relaxamento muscular. E foi a melhor coisa que podia ter feito. A Maria encontrou e tratou todos os pontos de inflamação (e eram alguns) e cheguei ao final da massagem a sentir-me nova!

Translation

I came to Maria for lymphatic drainage, but after a few minutes of assessment she told me a muscle-relaxation massage would be best. It was the best thing I could have done. Maria found and treated every point of inflammation (and there were a few), and by the end of the massage I felt brand new!

I had a serious issue with my cervical spine and was advised that Maria was the right person to help me — and she really was! After one session, I could move my head again 😊. Since then, I’ve been visiting Maria whenever my body needs some care. During my pregnancy, my legs were getting swollen, so Maria suggested lymphatic drainage sessions — and they worked perfectly for me.
